Comments:
What a great day! I had the opportunity to shoot.this new resident on Breaker's Reef. It's the first documented sighting of a Lionfish south of St. Augustine, FL. Lionfish are native to the Pacific and Indian oceans and usually hang out in deeper water. Experts speculate that it may have been released from a local aquarium. Lionfish don't have any local predators and are known to be territorial so there's a good chance that he'll stick around awhile. Be careful if you see him because he's armed with venomous spines.
